Terms and Conditions

By using the ServiceMAN website, calling our service, or booking a service request, you (“Customer”) agree to the following Terms of Service. If you do not agree with these services do not use our home and business services.

1.0 - Nature of Service

ServiceMAN is an online referral and booking service provider. Customer understands that ServiceMAN is not a contractor, does not perform repairs, and does not employ, own, or co-own any contractors. ServiceMAN’s role is limited to connecting customers with independent third-party contractors for plumbing, heating, air conditioning, or related services.

2.0 - Independent Contractors

All contractors referred by ServiceMAN are independent businesses. They are not agents, employees, partners, or affiliates of ServiceMAN. ServiceMAN does not verify, validate, or guarantee contractor licensing, certifications, insurance, qualifications, or workmanship.

Customers are solely responsible for performing their own due diligence before authorizing any repairs or services performed by a contractor.

3.0 - Consultation / Trip Fee

ServiceMAN charges a consultation/trip fee for arranging a contractor visit to the Customer’s location.

  • This fee covers the contractor’s visit to consult, inspect, and diagnose the issue and provide a repair quote.

  • The consultation/trip fee is charged by ServiceMAN, not the contractor.

  • Repair services are billed separately by the contractor.

If the Customer authorizes repairs, the Customer understands there will be two separate charges:

  1. One charge from ServiceMAN for the consultation/trip fee

  2. One charge from the contractor for repair services

4. Repair Charges

Repair charges are not included in the consultation/trip fee. All pricing, payment terms, warranties, and repair agreements are strictly between the Customer and the contractor.

ServiceMAN is not responsible for repair costs, quality of work, delays, or disputes related to contractor services.

5. Refund Policy

ServiceMAN does not offer refunds.

Once a contractor has been dispatched to the Customer’s location—whether the contractor is in route or has arrived on site—the consultation/trip fee becomes non-refundable.

6. Scheduling & Availability

ServiceMAN offers 24/7 booking services; however, contractor availability, response times, and service outcomes depend on third-party providers and are not guaranteed.

ServiceMan IVR: As part of our service, we send you automated text alerts regarding account activity. When processing your home repair request, we will send you a text message giving you contractor status and ETA details. At any time, you can get more help by replying HELP to these texts, or you can opt out completely by replying STOP.

8. Limitation of Liability

ServiceMAN shall not be liable for:

  • Contractor performance or negligence

  • Property damage or personal injury

  • Repair outcomes or workmanship

  • Licensing or certification issues

  • Pricing disputes between Customer and contractor

Customer agrees that ServiceMAN’s liability, if any, is limited to the amount paid for the consultation/trip fee.

9. Indemnification

Customer agrees to indemnify and hold harmless ServiceMAN from any claims, damages, losses, or disputes arising from services performed by referred contractors.

10. Changes to Terms

ServiceMAN reserves the right to update or modify these Terms of Service at any time. Continued use of the service constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
